Description:  Excellent opportunity to work at a first class manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art electronics! Our client is looking for both a Software and Hardware Engineer.

Hardware Engineer:

Review product specifications, define hardware implementation to achieve requested performance. Analyze design, verify worst case operating parameters, implement design through prototypes and verify design will meet performance requirements across all operating conditions. Design efforts are specifically targeted to electronic components using C167 or ARM microcontrollers. Complete documentation of design, validation testing, and release to production.

Software Engineer:

Review product specifications, define software implementation to achieve requested performance. Design and develop firmware for embedded control systems utilized in commercial products. Design efforts are specifically targeted to products using C167, ARM or FPGA softcore microcontrollers. Complete documentation of design, validation testing, and release to production. Support customer and field testing efforts for software issues, and develop solutions to keep testing efforts progressing.
Requirements:  Both positions require a Bachelors Degree in Electronics/Software Field.

Hardware:
This position requires 5 - 10 years working knowledge and design skills in:
  • C167, ARM, or 68HCxxx micro controllers for CAN based products
  • FPGA design including embedding softcore microprocessors
  • Digital logic, memory, and signal processing
  • Worst-case timing analysis over temperature specification
  • A/D, D/A, DSP applications
  • PCB design
  • ORCAD

    Software Engineer:
    This position requires 5 - 10 years working knowledge and design skills in:
  • RTXC 3.2 RTOS, and associated development tools
  • Windows CE
  • TCP/IP protocols
  • GUI and user interface design
  • C167, ARM, or 68HCxxx micro controllers for CAN based products
  • ISO 11783, or J1939 and J1708 protocols
  • C/C++, Visual C++
  • USB, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, serial communications
  • Cosmic and Keil Compilers
  • Vector CANoe
