A digital design engineer is needed to develop digital signal processor FPGA firmware for use in wireless communications systems. Will work with wireless communications systems, digital signal processing, and/or communication theory. Will untilize FPGA firmware development process, including VHDL code development, simulation, synthesis, timing closure, and FPGA verification. Will work all aspects of FPGA design using Xilinx FPGAs (particularly the Virtex family). Will also use Synplicity, Xilinx ISE, and Modelsim.
Required
Experience with the FPGA firmware development process is required, including VHDL code development, simulation, synthesis, timing closure, and FPGA verification.
Should be proficient in all aspects of FPGA design, have an in-depth familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs (particularly the Virtex family) and also an in-depth knowledge of Synplicity, Xilinx ISE, and Modelsim.
8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD.
Requires ability to communicate and work with teams and to troubleshoot designs operating within an integrated system.
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required
